Team Strengths Workshop

A workshop built on your team's own results.

Discussion-based and interactive, not lecture-style. I read everyone's results before we meet, and the session is built from them.

Half-day workshop
About three hours of working time plus a break. Midday around lunch, afternoon, or morning. In person wherever your team is, or virtual. Designed for teams of 10 or fewer; for a bigger group, we can talk about splitting it into sessions.
90-minute session
A shorter, focused version for teams or leadership groups. In person or virtual.

What your team leaves with

  • A shared language for how each person does their best work, so you stop misreading each other's styles as personality problems
  • An honest picture of where the team is strong and what it will need to compensate for or hire toward
  • Working agreements the team can use the next morning
  • A way to match work to the people most energized by it
  • A written summary of your team strengths map

Who this is for

Before the day

  1. 1A short call to confirm the date and format, and to hear what's happening on your team right now and what you want the session to focus on.
  2. 2I send each person a link to take the CliftonStrengths assessment online. It takes about 30 minutes.
  3. 3I review everyone's full 34-theme results, not just their Top 5, and build your team grid from them. It's the most important prep I do.

What I look for in your results

  • Where your team is dense, and what comes naturally because of it
  • What's missing, and what you'll need to be deliberate about or look for in the people you bring in
  • Rare resources: strengths only one person on the team carries. They're team assets, and the team should know where they are.
  • What the team is facing right now, like growth, a reorg, new managers or people working across very different roles

The shape of the day

Every workshop has the same three parts. What goes into them depends on your team, and I don't decide that until I've seen your results.

  1. Discover

Your own results, in practice: how they show up under pressure, in collaboration, when you're leading.

  2. Break

Time to read your full 34-theme report. Come back knowing your whole story, not just your Top 5.

  3. Connect

The team as a whole: where you're naturally powerful as a group, and what's worth being intentional about.

  4. Apply

Where self-awareness stops being just interesting and starts being useful.

After the workshop

One workshop won't change everything. But it gives your team a shared language and a framework that compounds over time, and follow-ups keep it in use after the day.

  • A check-in on the working agreements the team made
  • Deeper application sessions on whatever the team is facing now: a reorg, new hires, a hard quarter
  • 1:1 or small-group coaching for anyone who wants to go deeper on their results or apply them to a specific leadership challenge
